How It Works
1. Tell Me About Your Project
We'll start with your song, your goals, and what you're looking for from the mix. You'll have an opportunity to tell me about the sound you're after and provide reference tracks if you have them.
2. Send Me Your Tracks
I'll provide simple instructions for preparing and uploading your individual tracks or stems. If you're not sure how to export them from your DAW, I'll help you through it.
3. I Mix Your Song
I'll take it from there — balancing, EQ, compression, effects, automation, and everything needed to turn your tracks into a finished mix while keeping your original vision intact.
4. You Listen & Give Me Feedback
You'll receive a mix to review on the systems you normally listen to. If something needs adjusting, you'll have an opportunity to send me your notes.
5. Final Mix Delivery
Once you're happy with the mix, I'll prepare and deliver your finished files, ready for mastering and release.
You don't need to sit through a remote mixing session.

Do I Need to Be in the Studio With You?
No. Mixing is handled completely remotely.
How Do I Send You My Tracks?
I'll provide instructions for preparing and uploading your individual audio tracks or stems.
If you've never exported tracks for a mixing engineer before, don't worry. I'll walk you through it so everything arrives correctly.
What DAW Do I Need to Use?
It doesn't matter.
Pro Tools, Logic, Ableton, Studio One, Cubase, Reaper — whatever you used to make the music is fine.
We'll normally work from exported audio files rather than requiring you to send the original DAW session.
Can You Mix a Song I Recorded at Home?
Absolutely.
A large percentage of music today is recorded in home and project studios. As long as the recordings are usable, I can work with them.
If I hear something that should be corrected or re-recorded before we mix, I'll let you know rather than trying to hide a problem that would be better fixed at the source.
Can I Send You Reference Tracks?
Yes, and I encourage it.
Reference tracks help me understand what you're hearing in your head — whether that's the overall balance, vocal level, low end, space, energy, or general direction you're after.
The goal isn't to copy another record. It's to better understand your vision for you
How Many Revisions Are Included?
You'll have an opportunity to review the mix and send notes for reasonable adjustments.
The exact number of revisions included will be explained before the project begins. Major production changes, new recordings, or changes outside the original scope may require additional work.
Is Mastering Included?
Mixing and mastering are separate processes.
Your finished mix will be delivered ready for mastering. If you'd also like me to master the project, mastering can be added as a separate service.
How Long Does a Mix Take?
Turnaround depends on the project, my current schedule, and the number of songs involved.
We'll discuss the expected turnaround before work begins so you know what to expect.
Can You Mix an Entire Album or EP?
Absolutely.
For multi-song projects, we'll discuss the entire project before we begin so we can establish the sound, workflow, schedule, and pricing for the record as a whole.
What If My Tracks Aren't Ready for Mixing?
I'll tell you.
I'd rather catch a problem before we start than spend your money trying to fix something that should have been addressed during recording or production.
If something needs attention, we'll figure out the best way to handle it before moving forward.
